Dish party Januray 15 Taking a cue form the growing popularity of foreign satellite channels such as Zee and Star Plus, which have eroded local TV's viewership in the cities, Pakistan Television has also decided to turn to the dish. PTV-2, the educational channel, has been beaming down from AsiaSat 1 since November, 1992, but from today PTV's regular evening transmission will also be available to viewers throughout Asia. And maybe more Pakistanis will now watch it too while surfing the dish.
