Inconstant Love

'Ashiq-i-Herjai' ('Inconstant Lover') is a poem from Part 2 of Baang-i-Dara (1924) by Dr. Sir Muhammad Iqbal. It was composed around 1909 but is supposed to reflect a turning point which occured a little earlier in Iqbal's "biography of mind", where he discovered a unity in the various contradictions which seemed to define his enigmatic nature.
